In a recent study on exposure to UV lamps used to dry gel nail polish, the French Academy of Medicine recommended applying sunscreen 20 minutes before every manicure. However, you can rest assured that: Firstly, these recommendations are based on studies of people who used high-powered UV lamps (above 48 watts) very frequently over many years, with long exposure times (20 to 40 minutes per day in the latest study). And secondly, if you follow these recommendations and the specified curing times, you can continue to use our LED lamps for your Green Flash™ manicures in complete safety. In addition, the maximum power of our lamps is 36W and curing times range from 5 to 9 minutes. The curing times and UV strength in the study are much higher than you are exposed to using our LED lamps ✅
